Save your scanScan with toe posts as instructed, save your scan under your email address, and tick the consent box to stay informed about the Tabi Gen02 launch.

Retrieve your scan and purchaseUse the QR code after scanning or return to our website. Use the same email to retrieve your scan and place your order. We'll 3D print them to your exact foot shape.

What is VivoBiome?

VivoBiome is Vivobarefoot's innovation platform - pioneering a scan-to-print circular footwear system.

Guided by four principles - made-to-order, made-to-measure, made locally, and made-to-be-remade - we're building towards the world's first personalised barefoot footwear health platform. Simply put - we're building the perfect footwear system: personalised, low-waste, and fit for the future.

We're on a journey, and we're not fully there yet. We're starting with small-scale made-to-order, made-to-measure launches so we can learn, refine, and build this properly.

With each release - and with your support - we'll be adding made locally and made-to-be-remade in the future.

Can I purchase Tabi sandals without a foot scan?

No. Tabi sandals are made-to-measure, so a foot scan is required to order.

How do I get a foot scan?

Find a scanner near you here. Once you're there, make sure to:

1. Remove your shoes, socks, and anything covering your ankles
2. Step onto the scanner barefoot
3. Place your feet against the toe posts - between your big toe and second toe
4. Stand still and tap Start on the iPad
5. Save your scan using your email address and opt in to hear about VivoBiome
6. If you do not follow these steps exactly, we cannot guarantee fit. If in doubt, please ask a member of staff to assist you - they'll be happy to help.

Is mobile scanning available?

Not yet. Mobile scanning currently can't achieve the precision required for bespoke footwear - but we're working on it. We're also developing semi-bespoke models that work from mobile scans. Sign up to our newsletter here to be the first to know.

Is there a warranty or fit guarantee?

Yes - if there's a manufacturing defect or quality issue with your Tabi sandals, please get in touch via the product issue form here and we'll make it right.

On fit: provided you've scanned correctly and submitted all the necessary details (including photos of your feet), we review every fit complaint on a case-by-case basis and will come back to you with a solution.

How do I place an order?

You'll need a foot scan first - find out how to get scanned here. Once you have your scan, you can purchase your made-to-measure Tabi sandals directly on our website.

How long will it take to receive my Tabi sandals?

It depends on the production queue, but typically between 4-6 weeks from the date of your order. You'll be notified about progress via email.
